2021 Review and 2022 Goals
Çizgi Teknoloji’s Sales, Marketing, and Operations Director, Mehmet Avni Berk, reviewed 2021 and shared the company’s goals for 2022. Having established a strong presence in Turkey’s domestic market, Çizgi Teknoloji aims to expand internationally and establish a global identity in 2022.
New Companies to be Established in Canada and the Netherlands
To achieve faster growth and make its products more competitive in the global market, Çizgi Teknoloji has decided to establish new companies in Canada and the Netherlands in 2022. With this move, the company aims to reach the European and North American markets directly. Berk stated that they had participated in various international trade fairs before the pandemic and, despite temporarily halting these activities due to Covid-19, they are set to resume them at full speed in 2022.
“Based on our research and market studies, we have decided to establish new subsidiaries in Canada and the Netherlands. Through these subsidiaries under Çizgi Teknoloji, we plan to expand our activities in the European and North American markets. Instead of reaching these markets from Turkey, we believe that setting up local structures will allow us to access them much faster.”
Berk noted that with the growing adoption of Industry 4.0 and the increasing demand for medical monitors and industrial computer solutions in the healthcare sector, investments will be directed accordingly to capitalize on this expanding market potential.
Growth in the Industrial Product Group
Çizgi Teknoloji operates within three main product groups: Industrial, Medical, and Digital Signage/Kiosk. Berk highlighted significant growth in the Industrial Product Group during 2021.
“As you know, we have three main product groups: Industrial, Medical, and Digital Signage/Kiosk. In 2021, the pandemic affected the demand for Digital Signage and Kiosk products, which are mainly used in the service sector. However, we saw significant growth in our Medical and Industrial product groups. Particularly, the momentum gained from Industry 4.0 investments in 2021 played a crucial role in this growth. We anticipate that the Industrial Product Group will continue to expand even further in 2022.”
Continuing Steady Growth
Çizgi Teknoloji aims to increase sales in its Industrial Computer Group and maintain its growth trajectory in 2022. Berk emphasized that despite increasing market challenges and competition, the company has made all necessary preparations.
“We anticipate that the surge in Industrial Computer Group sales, especially in the last quarter, will continue to grow in 2022. While market conditions and competition are becoming more challenging every year, we are making strategic preparations accordingly. Additionally, we must not overlook the ongoing impact of the pandemic. Although the pandemic may not be as disruptive as it was in its early stages, it continues to cause disruptions.”
Berk also stressed that the company is taking a proactive approach to overcoming challenges such as the chip crisis and is developing strategic solutions for emerging issues like the energy crisis. In 2022, Çizgi Teknoloji aims to become a strong player in the global market.
